BBC Tokyo Olympics

For the BBC's Tokyo Olympics coverage, we drew inspiration from the event's striking red and salmon-coloured medal bands. This provided a sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic that elegantly framed our messaging across various platforms, including TV, social media, and out-of-home displays.

To build excitement and celebrate Team GB's achievements, we crafted bespoke graphics for the BBC's social media. Our branding was also used to house the beautiful launch film from Nexus studios.

WACs menus show current and upcoming events across the BBC. We embellished these with our six dynamic looping background gradients, accompanied by the campaign tagline "Let's Go There" and vibrant neon lighting on the Sport graphic yellow bars.

These 6 looping gradient backgrounds were a signature element of the BBC's coverage and messaging. Seamlessly integrated across social media, television, and out-of-home displays; each signifies a different mood such as ‘Energy’, ‘Olympic Flames’ and ‘Strength’.

To herald the imminent arrival of the Olympics to our screens, I created these short stings featuring neon-lit countdowns in our sleek monochromatic palette.
